Since Kiki can remember, she was drawn to the healing arts. Throughout her childhood and into her adolescence, she enjoyed pampering loved ones and trying to heal their ailments through massage and touch. After 2 years at Dutchess Community College and still not finding a suitable major, she pursued a career in Massage Therapy at the Hudson Valley School of Massage Therapy in Highland. As soon as she started to learn the art of Massage, she knew she would one day own her own spa. Upon completing her massage therapy licensure, she returned to school to receive a license in Esthetics in 2004. Both careers gave her the ability to serve others in healing through skin care and body care. After gaining experience in the spa industry by working in very successful day spas and medi-spas as well as traveling abroad to gain insight into self-healing techniques and other healing arts, Kiki was ready to open The Little Owl Spa. Her massages combines eastern massage techniques (acupressure, compression, rolling & stretching) with western massage techniques ( effluerage, friction, petrissage and tapping). Kiki’s intuitive touch and loving nature enables clients to feel comfortable, pampered and fully relaxed; improving their overall well being and feeling of health. She has received extra training in eastern massage therapy techniques, sciatica, neck and shoulder injuries, lower back pain and certification in prenatal massage and doula. All massages include aromatherapy, stretching, breathing exercises, heat and compression therapy.
Kiki has also gained experience in the skin care field since receiving her esthetic license in 2004. After battling her own acne condition, one of her passions have been helping others achieve their skin health goals though product redirection, facial practices and advice. Her eyebrow shapings and brow transformations have become very popular as well as her brazilian waxes due to Kiki's gentle touch and genuine care. . She is currently working on developing a customized skin care line as well as outlining the presentation for future workshops about skin care and helpful daily practices to assist in anti-aging and acne treatments. She is available Tuesday - Saturday by appointment only.
Ashley Delvescovi, Esthetician & Hair Removal Specialist
Always being drawn to the beauty industry, Ashley first became a cosmetologist before becoming an esthetician in 2006. Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, she studied skincare at the Hudson Valley School of Massage Therapy and Aesthetics. Her calming and kind nature combined with experience, knowledge and expertise makes her extremely unique. Ashley offers great skin care techniques. She educates her clients and treats every situation with gentle techniques and efficient tactics towards reaching realistic skin health goals. Ashely is trained in full body hair removal such as full leg, brazilian as well as eyebrow shaping. She is available on Monday and Friday.
Chelsea Drummond, Licensed Esthetician
Chelsea is a graduate from Capri School of Esthetics. Skin care has been her passion for as long as she can remember. She is learning more about product knowledge and formulations with Kiki. She is ready to assist clients in product recommendations. Chelsea's facials focus on treating skin conditions and making clients feel relaxed, comfortable and right at home. All of the estheticians at The Little Owl Spa follow Kiki's strict skin care philosophy: non-fragrant product use, "less is more" approach, educate more than sell and skincare based on factual skin biology and science.
Jaclyn Bedekovich, Massage Therapist
Jaclyn was born and raised in the Hudson Valley and graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in October 2010. of the American Massage Therapy Association, received her National Board Certification, Colorado State massage license and Washington State massage license.
Her passion for helping people with their pain and injuries peaked after years of her own severe back pain and major knee surgery. Massage was an immense part of the therapy she received during her recovery; therefore, knows how great it feels to be relieved of pain and discomfort. A firm believer in the inseparable connection between body/mind, Jaclyn is an advocate of massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and strongly believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being. She understands that every person has unique challenges and preferences, and prides herself in being able to hone into the needs of each individual. She continues her education and learning so she can provide the best results for what the body needs in the moment. Jaclyn is experienced in several modalities of massage, including: Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, prenatal, neuromuscular, injury treatment, cupping , and reflexology.
Chelsey Giammarino, Licensed Massage Therapist
Chelsey graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage Therapy. She became a body work practitioner after witnessing a massage therapist care for her new born baby who had to have heart surgery. Seeing the connection and the benefits of massage inspired her do the same. The passion she feels towards her work is evident from the moment you meet her. Recently , Chelsey was asked to work at the US Women’s Open. Her unique massage style is best for those that enjoy trigger point therapy,myofacial release, deep tissue and medical massage. massage techniques, neuromuscular therapy, myofacial release and energy healing. Chelsey is also certified in Cupping Therapy and Prenatal Massage.
Molly Styker, Licensed Esthetician
Molly is a graduate of Capri School of Esthetics. Her sweet disposition and relaxing demeanor is guaranteed to make everyone feel at home. She is gentle kind and has apprenticed with Kiki for almost a year. She is one of the most talented brow shaping artists available and has a passion for understanding all there is to know about the skin.
